We’re not fast and don’t have a lot of natural weaponry but we’re bizarrely tolerant to a broad range of toxins to the point that one toxin is considered a morning necessity for some to perform at work. Gotta love us.

I think the big problem with the way Tamlin’s character is written is that too much of his character in book 1 is established by Feyre observing or eavesdropping on him when he doesn’t realize she’s around or by other people talking about Tamlin when he’s fully away from Feyre ergo, he’s not putting on an act or forcing anyone else to, which makes the claim in ACOMAF that he was only pretending to be kind to make her love him simply not work.
